King's Manassa Turquoise Pendant

Created by fourth-generation silversmith Marco Patania, this hand-stamped King’s Manassa Turquoise pendant is a study in thoughtful craftsmanship, natural beauty, and individuality.
The silver for this pendant began as a single fine silver coin, which Marco milled down to size before shaping and stamping it by hand with tools he made himself.
 
This traditional, labor-intensive process gives the piece a distinct character that will never be achieved through mass production. Every mark reflects the hand of the maker, creating a surface texture rich with depth and quiet detail.
 
The pendant features a stamped backing, bezel, and bail, ensuring that every visible surface is finished with the same level of care as the stone itself. From the front, the intricate silverwork frames the turquoise beautifully; from the sides and back, additional stamping details reveal the thought and artistry woven into the entire piece.
 
At its center is a natural King’s Manassa Turquoise stone with a beautiful blue-green hue and a rich rusty-red matrix distributed throughout. The warm, earthen matrix creates a lively contrast against the cooler tones of the turquoise, giving the stone an organic sense of movement and depth. No two stones are alike, and this one’s natural variations make the pendant feel personal;  a small landscape carried close to the heart.
 
As with all of Marco Patania’s hand-stamped pendants, no two pieces are exactly alike.
