Centennial Release Star Pendant
The Centennial Release Star Pendant is a striking tribute to an original design by Frank Patania Jr., c. 1960. While the star motif has inspired smaller interpretations over the years, this special anniversary edition returns to the original's bold, expressive spirit, reimagined as a statement piece in honor of our 100th year.
At its heart is an exceptional 18 mm citrine, glowing with rich honey-amber hues. Sterling silver rays radiate around the stone, with a subtle design refinement that gives this edition its own character: the rays open slightly outward, creating added depth and dimension while drawing out the citrine’s warmth and brilliance. The pendant hangs from a hand-strung cascade chain of sterling silver beads, measuring 16 inches with a 2-inch extension for an adjustable fit.
This pendant is part of our Centennial celebration, taking place on January 16, 2027, at the Maynard Dixon and Native American Museum and Mark Sublette's Medicine Man Gallery in Tucson, Arizona. The exhibition will continue through April 30, 2027. We look forward to celebrating this remarkable milestone and the artistry and legacy behind it with you.
