Aletai Meteorite Pendant

Forged by fourth-generation silversmith Marco Patania, this distinctive square pendant combines the ancient character of rare Aletai meteorite with the strength and texture of hand-worked silver.
 
Measuring approximately ½ inch by ½ inch, the pendant features a genuine fragment of Aletai meteorite secured in a fine silver bezel. Each bezel is individually hand stamped by Marco using an asanoha stamp of his own design. Inspired by the traditional Japanese hemp-leaf pattern, the asanoha motif brings a subtle geometric rhythm and added dimension to the pendant’s surface.
 
To deepen the texture and create an organically rugged finish, Marco carefully fused fine sterling silver filings into the piece, producing a tactile, uneven surface that catches the light from every angle. The result is a pendant that feels both refined and elemental, part celestial relic, part modern talisman.
 
The pendant is paired with an oxidized sterling silver rope chain, chosen to complement its darker, weathered character and enhance its quietly masculine presence. The oxidized finish gives the chain a subdued, gunmetal-like appearance while allowing the brighter details of the meteorite and hand-finished silver to stand out

Aletai meteorite formed beyond Earth and traveled across space before becoming part of this one-of-a-kind wearable object. Combined with Marco’s traditional silversmithing heritage and highly personal handwork, each pendant carries its own variations in texture, tone, and pattern. No two pieces are exactly alike.
